As always, the animation you make is lovely to watch, and the writing is entertaining. I am very happy to have been a part of this, and I am so happy with the way it ended up! :)

I'm...gonna watch this movie now.
Great animation! Definately worth the wait.
If I could do anything different, I would've delivered the lines faster...sure it would've been harder for you to lipsync, but commercials are always fast paced, and it felt like I was too slow at times...
Also, a lot of the sound effects were way too loud. A great way to prevent the sound effects from over-taking the voices but still have some volume and presence is to export them as stereo files, and all the dialogue as mono files, so the dialogue has the most presence in the center, while the sound effects are lout outside the center, and never overpower said dialogue in the center >.>
Looks great, though, and in spite of the little flaws, it was still entertaining. Good job, guys!
Definately does the song justice!
Another classic
Your animations are always fun to watch. When it comes to the other front paged pieces, yours trumps a lot in its quality, and the randomness only adds to the charm. Gotta love the lack of plot, it isn't really needed when you're dealing with a person made up by parents to get their little brats to behave anyway. I loved this thing, it's awesome! I don't understand why people can't appreciate the animation for what it is, it's very well done and drawn. I wish more animators could animate like this.
Yeah, why this fag community do not support Old pedophiles hooker baby murder nazi fart ? :´C
I was a bit torn..
It has great art behind it. Everything was lip synced very well...and the writing wasn't bad, but I just didn't find myself enjoying this as much as I thought I would because of some elements that could've been fixed with more fleshing out, and some redoes from the voice actors.
To start with, I think that people saying the whole thing ran a bit long do have a point, though I understand the whole irony of the situation lasting so long when the obvious culprit was there the whole time is a part of the piece's charm, I also feel the monologues could have been shortened, and the timing could have been tightened up.
A few of the voice actors either have no pop filter or their pop filter is letting air through into the mic. Not only does this risk damaging their microphone's capsule, but it sounds really bad...luckily, I know a great, and cheap, solution to this.
If the guy/girl has a pop filter: Tape a pencil to the middle of the pop filter vertically, this will separate the gusts of wind coming out of your mouth, and prevent them from ever reaching the microphone capsule.
If he/she doesn't have a pop filter: Simply tape the pencil to the middle of the mic's grill that you're speaking into vertically. It has the same effect, but wont shield the mic capsule from spit and other debris that the pop filter provides protection from.
Though this 'toon wasn't bad, I just didn't find myself liking it. I still think everyone did an alright job with it, and small improvements could have been made here or there...but I am giving it a 7 because it has a lot of room for improvement.
And so it ends
It was fun while it lasted.
Oh boy!
My idea came to life! I think that you've got great potential to make some great animations, you can draw pretty well. A lot better than me, that's for sure, and with more practice I think you can have a very stylized style for your animations!
I think it was a good recreation of the audio, not bad for just having my audio to work from too!
Thanks for making this.
And Mirak is wrong, annoying characters aren't over-rated. They're a stand-by that will be used for all time. It's a form of comedic writing for an ending like the one I wrote. Every production has them, and you just have to live with it. What more is there to a production if there isn't a character you don't like? There's no involvement of the viewer, no "man, I hope the lion kicks his ass." factor. It's an important part of the writing process for comedies. Especially shorts.
Regardless, it was pretty good! I hopw to see more work from you soon!
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it! It was great practice, I actually drew it all using my mouse which made it a little more difficult but I think it came out cute. :3
Lame
I'm going to give you a fair review, but first I'm going to tell you my opinion: It was lame. And I am probably not going to watch any of the proceeding cartoons.
The pacing was alright, I wish it was a little bit faster, it wasn't slow by much, but seemed to be a LITTLE slow, ya know? Nothing to take away from the actual flash, but it was just a small bother to me, since the music felt faster than the montage :(
I realize it's supposed to be lame and stupid crap, but if that's the case, then reviews that call it lame and stupid crap are beneficial. Not gonna lie, Eddsworld has done this all before, and I didn't like it then. I'm probably not going to like it now.
The voice acting was meh. Obviously was too short to judge your acting abilities, but I had plenty to judge the over-all voice quality and tone. I can also give you a few pointers:
I assume you're using a headset, or a computer usb mic. If you aren't, then you paid way too much for whatever p.o.s. XLR mic you got your hands on. The main issue with usb computer mics is they seem to have no low-end, and it is a very distinctive tone most people can pick up. It doesn't sound good, now, You can maybe help out your vocal tone a bit if you add some low end to your voice files via an EQ plug-in, but really it all depends on whether or not the pic can even pick up those low-end frequencies. But, I say it's worth a try, it can improve the over-all quality of the voices you record :)
The animation was fine, but that was the problem. It was just fine. To me, the lack of extravagant animation and over-exaggerated movements just made the over-all feel of the "exaggerated tales" seem more lame than funny. Ya know? I understand that your animation style may not include exaggerated movement or anything like that, but if that's the case, and you don't want to attempt to adopt some of those techniques, you should be prepared to get a lot of uninterested people who are bored. I realize it's a ton of extra work, but since when did putting extra effort into something worth money not pay off on the internet? ....Maybe it's best we not answer that. >.>
I know the review's rating is low, but I just didn't like this as a whole. It says nothing about you, it's this specific toon that I'm reviewing. It appeals to a large demographic: Little kids, memetards, and anime fans. They aren't the smartest bunch on the internet, but hey. If they'll earn you money to buy food, then more power to ya. I just think that some of my suggestions could give a few people from other groups that aren't 3-20 years old an excuse to bring their friends when they watch something like this. Whether you want to admit it or not, this idea is old hat. You should jazz it up a little bit more than bringing in a giant animal (old hat again.) to use as an excuse to play an over-rated song.
Over-all, i think this will probably be successful...as long as you keep the effort and quality put into each toon consistent, which may or may not leave room for improvement. Your demographic has one big flaw: They aren't as accepting to new things as others are. Like, you don't see memes that have more than one "version" that often. Though you do see animes like that, not many of their fans are willing to admit it. You see where I'm going with this.
So in closing. I don't like it. But, good luck with your series.
Druox.
